About Me
My goal with my photography, besides giving myself an abundance of incredible emotions, is to create images that influence in a positive manner. I want to show that the world is fantastic, life is incredible and everyone can create something exceptional. I want to give hope and a sense of value to individuals. I want to influence what I think is wrong with the community, but also what I think is right.
My photographic career started when I was a kid, where I took every chance I got to play with a camera. It was simply something about photography that fascinated me. But, my "career" slipped away from photography into a world of design and graphics. The experience I accumulated in this industry contributed to my photography since it opened up my eyes to colors, shape and composition, but eventually I felt I wanted to go all in with photography since it included so much of what I loved.
What attracts me with photography is that it allows me to freeze a moment in time in one single frame, while it so powerfully reflects my way of looking at the world. There's a popular saying that everything is already done. In photography, my point of view is that nothing has ever been done before and never will. An idea is seldom unique today, but a photo always is.
Especially portrait photography captivates me with its challenges and the dynamic it involves to photograph someone. I can never know what will happen and I need to be quick and in a creative state of mind which makes my heart jump of excitement. Not to mention the countless experiences from meeting new and unique people.
To me, to get other people to think about or reflect over my work makes me smile, or when I manage to capture the essence of a child that makes one of the parents to cry out of love, or when I capture a beauty in a landscape that other's might have just passed by - that's why I do what I do.
Photography and sharing my own energy is my way of giving other people happiness and to change the world to the better. I don't always manage to, and it doesn't always end up the way I want it but I will never stop trying.
I would like to help you and I'd love to inspire you. |
