ABOUT ME

I'm a swedish freelance photographer with a burning passion for environment and portrait photography.

My photographic career started when I was a kid, where I took every chance I got to work a camera. Something about it just intrigued me. However, my "career" drifted away a few years from photography into the world of design and graphic artistry. The experience I gathered from this industry contributed a lot to my photography since it opened up my eyes to colors, form and composition. But at one point I felt I wanted to go all the way with the photography simply because the process included so much of what I loved.

What attracts me today about photography is that it enables me to freeze a moment that once existed into a single frame, while it reflects so strongly my way of looking at the world. Photography is my own very detailed journal. Especially portrait photography captivates me because of the challenges and the dynamics of photographing someone. I can never know exactly what will happen, and I have to be fast and in a very creative state which is something that makes my heart pound of excitement. Not to mention the vast experiences of meeting new and unique people. I simply just love it.

And to me, making people think or just reflect from one of my pieces makes me smile. Or when I've managed to capture the essence of a child which makes their parents smile happily of love when they look at the photograph... it's indescribable to me.

Photography and being myself is my way of bringing joy to people and changing the world - even if it's just slightly.
